Lawrence M. Hoffman is the Commandant, U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School, Edwards Air Force Base, CA. As Commandant, he is responsible for the graduate level education of the Air Force's most highly skilled aviators as they earn the rating of experimental test pilots, flight test navigators, and flight test engineers.
Colonel Hoffman leads a 150-person organization and is responsible for the single biggest flying operation at the Air Force Test Center. Colonel Hoffman has served in a variety of flying assignments in combat, operational, and flight test, and two Pentagon staff assignments, on Headquarters US Air Force (Air Staff) and The Joint Staff.
