Burt Everett "Rusty" Miller
Private First Class, U.S. Marine Corps

Burt Everett Miller was born on 6 June 1948 in Barberton, OH, the son of Robert E. and Norma J. Miller.

On 4 November 1968, Private First Class Burt Everett Miller was serving with the 1st Platoon, L Company, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines, 1st Marine Division, III Marine Amphibious Force, in Quang Nam Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, PFC Miller was killed in action when he sustained multiple fragmentation wounds from an explosive device. His body was recovered.
