Leonard Long
Hospitalman, U.S. Navy

On 26 March 1968, Hospitalman Leonard Long was serving with Headquarters & Service Company, 1st Battalion, 9th Marines, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Amphibious Force, in Quang Tri Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, HN Long was killed in action when he sustained multiple shrapnel wounds from an explosive device. His body was recovered.
