James Arthur Kruse

James Arthur Kruse was born on 19 March 1949, the son of Neal and Melania Kruse.

On 10 June 1969, Private First Class James Arthur Kruse was serving with Headquarters & Headquarters Company, 3rd Battalion, 1st Infantry Regiment, 11th Infantry Brigade, in Quang Ngai Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, PFC Kruse was killed in action when he sustained wounds from an explosive device. His body was recovered.
