Kenneth Eugene Kotyluk Kenneth Eugene Kotyluk was born on 22 July 1947 in Manitoba, Canada. On 21 April 1968, Specialist Five Kenneth Eugene Kotyluk was serving with C Company, 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, in Bien Hoa Province, South Vietnam. On that day, SP5 Kotyluk was wounded in action when he sustained wounds from small arms fire. He was placed in a military hospital that day and died of his wounds on 24 April 1968.
