Biography:

Charles Kuhn Dusenberry
Fireman First Class, United States Navy

United States Navy fireman first class. He survived the attack on Pearl Harbor and would go on to serve during the invasions of the Marshall and Gilbert Islands. He was then transferred to the USS Hugh L. Scott (AP-43), a transport ship based out of Maryland. During Operation Torch, she was sunk by German U-boat U-130. Eight officers and 51 enlisted men were lost.
