Venancio E. Castillo Venancio E. Castillo is the only son of Andres BS Castillo and Catalina Esguerra Castillo. Venancio's father was Mayor of Licab, Nueva Ecija, Philippines and his great grandfather is the founder of the town Licab Nueva Ecija. Venancio is 4th generation from Dalmacio Esguerra. Venancio graduated from the University of the Philippines and passed his bar examination and was listed in the Lawyers of the Philippines. In 1942, Venancio was a Private in the U.S. Army and serving with the 92nd Coast Artillery Regiment, Philippine Scouts, in the Philippines. On 13 May 1942 he was listed as Missing in Action and was eventually declared dead as of that date. Medals World War II Victory Medal Memorialization The remains of Private Venancio E. Castillo have never been recovered.
