Lance Corporal, U.S. Marine Corps

Robert Patrick Jordan was born on 10 March 1947.

On 30 October 1965, Lance Corporal Robert Patrick Jordan was serving with 1st Platoon, A Company, 1st Battalion, 1st Marines, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Amphibious Force, in Quang Nam Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, LCpl Jordan was killed in action when he sustained wounds from an explosive device. His body was recovered.
