George Burns Hays

George Burns Hays was born on 24 February 1937.

George B. Hays attended the University of Illinois from 1956 - 1960 and obtained a degree in Engineering.

On 13 June 1967, Captain George Burns Hays was serving with the 1131st Special Activity Squadron, 7th Air Force, in Gia Dinh Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, Capt Hays was killed in action when he sustained wounds from small arms fire. His body was recovered.
