Joyce Marvin Frazee

Joyce Marvin Frazee was born to Elmer and Ila Frazee in the back of their bakery on 14 April 1924 in St Louis, MO. He attended Marquette University and graduated as a proud member of the class of 1949 from the U.S. Naval Academy.
He served in the U.S. Navy for over 20 years and, after retirement, ran a real estate brokerage along with his late wife, Wanda. He was a resident of Virginia Beach, VA, for almost 60 years. Marvin attended First Presbyterian Church in Virginia Beach for 50 years.
Lieutenant Commander Joyce Marvin Frazee died peacefully on 6 February 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda, in 2008.
He is survived by his brother-in-law, Howard Ray of Virginia Beach, son John and his wife Joan of Norfolk,VA, his daughter Jenny and her husband Alvin of Columbus, OH, and granddaughters Kelly Staples of Seattle, WA, Jennifer Slemaker of Kenosha, WI, and Summer Kemp and grandson, Tommy Kemp of Columbus, OH. He also had two great-grandchildren, Amanda Slemaker and Jayme Slemaker.
