James Thomas Fernandez

James Thomas Fernandez was born on 3 February 1948.

On 28 February 1969, Private First Class James Thomas Fernandez was serving with B Company, 1st Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, in Binh Duong Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, PFC Fernandez was killed in action when he sustained wounds from an explosive device. His body was recovered.
