Gerald Vernon Eppley

Private First Class, U.S. Marine Corps

Gerald Vernon Eppley was born on 20 May 1945.

On 6 August 1966, Private First Class Gerald Vernon Eppley was serving with G Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines, 1st Marine Division, in Thua Thien Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, PFC Eppley was killed in action when he sustained wounds from small arms fire. His body was recovered.
