John Andrew Donnal

Lieutenant Colonel, U.S. Army

John Andrew Donnal was born on 20 February 1930.

On 1 August 1967, Major John Andrew Donnal was serving with Headquarters & Headquarters Company, as Executive Officer of the 65th Engineer Battalion, 25th Infantry Division, in Cu Chi Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, Major Donnal died in a non-hostile helicopter crash. His body was recovered. Donnal received a posthumous promotion to Lieutenant Colonel.
