Eugene Doyce Dollar was born on 9 January 1945.

On 25 January 1966, Specialist Four Eugene Doyce Dollar was serving with A Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, in Binh Dinh Province, South Vietnam.

On that day, SP4 Dollar was killed when the plane in which he was a passenger, crashed. His body was recovered.
