Dennis Clark Wilkerson United States Navy petty officer second class who was a crew member of USS Franklin (CV-13) when it was attacked by Japanese bombers. One bomb struck the ship, creating a massive fire that killed 724 of the ship's crew, including Wilkerson. His body was never recovered. |
